- Our most popular replacement marine boat carpet.
- Durable and comfortable, this boat carpet will last.
- High quality marine grade rubber backing.
- UV & mildew resistant synthetic fibers.
- 20oz marine carpet is the standard used on most new fishing boats, bass boats, bowriders and runabouts.
- Carpet must be adhered to the deck/surface.
Comfort and durability at a price you can afford, 20oz boat carpet is an excellent choice for any style boat. Plush and comfortable but not overly thick, you'll be happy with how this carpet performs.
No matter what style of boat carpet you choose we use the same high quality marine grade rubber backing and UV/mildew resistant synthetic fibers, the difference is in the density and cut of the fibers.
This style carpeting is a must on boats that get a lot of foot traffic, specifically fishing boats and bass boats. Lighter weight carpet will mat down quickly but our 20oz carpet will perform well and stay comfortable. If you are concerned about tight fitting lids or hatches you can trip down the sides of your hatches with a sheer (beard trimmer). This is a trick that will allow you to install this high quality boat carpet on an older boat.

However, I'm am glad to say that I am very happy with my purchase. I ordered it on a Saturday, and by Tuesday it was here. I have not had a chance to put it in my boat, but it looks and feels wonderful. I honestly don't see why you would go anywhere else for carpet based on the value of the carpet for the money. It was a cost efficient solution to my carpet needs. I bought the 20oz carpet in gun metal for my bass boat, and I'm here to tell you it was the best purchase I could have made. Hope this is helpful to your search for carpet.
I would recommend this company to anyone and would not hesitate to order from them again myself.
carpet glue was a wise to work with,, thx bass boat.
One suggestion that I have is to turn the carpet to where the natural direction of the fibers lays toward the stern of your boat. Then cut all pieces of carpet making certain to keep the grain of carpet running to the rear. If it runs sideways or toward the front, the texture different will be visible. Just a simple tip and easy to avoid if you know to look out for the grain direction.
